At a Star Wars celebration, Anthony Carboni talked about how they would reveal new Mandalorian toys at D23. One of the cool things shown was a LEGO set with a Mando minifigure. Just as everyone was excited, a one-of-a-kind Mandalorian LEGO minifigure vanished into thin air.

Security was quickly called in and started a careful search of the whole place. Suspicion fell on the event’s host, Carboni, who was subjected to a rather embarrassing pat-down. The host said to the actor (via Instagram):

Let me tell you about the time Pedro Pascal threw me under the bus. Do you remember when we were doing the reveal of The Mandalorian toys. We get done and we were looking around the table and we say the Mando Minifig is gone. This is a prototype Mandalorian Lego Minifig , it’s one of a kind. Security’s patting me down, they are checking my pockets. Do you know how it goes slinking out of the room?

Then something surprising happened. It was none other than Pedro Pascal himself who had claimed the coveted minifigure. With a cheeky grin, the Hollywood star explained:

I was like, ‘That’s little and that’s me, that’s mine.’

He revealed that security soon arrived asking for it back, much to everyone’s surprise. Fans responded, with one saying, “Not stolen but rightfully claimed.” In the fan’s view, the minifigure was meant for him because of his celebrity status associated with The Mandalorian.
