‘The Boys’ Producer Seth Rogen Might End His Acting Career Without Making Any MCU Appearance Because of His Fear

Seth Rogen, a name synonymous with laughter and creativity, has come a long way in developing a well-built career in the entertainment industry as a prolific actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director. Rogen, the renowned personality has recently stated his reason for not being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As the fans of Seth Rogen eagerly await his appearance in the MCU, the entertainer has denied his involvement with the studio stating his fear to be his main reason.

Seth Rogen Admits His Fears Which Keep Him Away from Marvel Collaboration

During an interview with Polygon, the renowned actor, comedian, and producer Seth Rogen stated that it is his fear that does not let him be part of the MCU movies. When asked why he wouldn’t work with the MCU Rogen joked “Honestly, probably fear.” Talking about this further, Rogen stated that he has been working as a writer for more than 20 years and he has his specific way of working. He also said that working with MCU means he will have to be a part of the new system which does scare him a lot.

Rogen said “We really have a pretty specific way we work; me and Evan (Goldberg) have been writers for 20 years at this point. It’s a fear of the process, honestly. It’s mostly a fear of how would we plug into the system they have in place, which seems like a very good system, and a system that serves them very well.”

This showcases the focus of Seth Rogen to work on projects and processes which provides him to be creative in his own way and compel one of the best stories for his fans.

Seth Rogen Agrees He Is a Control Freak

During the interview, Seth Rogen also admitted that he is a total control freak. While talking with Polygon, Rogen said that over the period of years all the movies that he has worked on or produced he has developed a system for himself. He also shared that he likes being in his own created system and process as it helps him to have control over everything.

Talking to Loope Rogen said “What’s also appealing for us about ‘The Boys’ and the other bigger franchise-y type things we’ve done, is that we are creating the infrastructure and process for them, not plugging into someone else’s infrastructure and process. We’re control freaks!”

Rogen has also confirmed at currently he has no plan in working with the MCU as he is more focused on his upcoming projects. He said that he is hyper-focused on creating the content that most interests him.

This decision of Seth Roge has left the fans disappointed although, this shows his autonomy and alignment with the projects which allows him to stay true to his creative vision.
