While many of his die-hard fans know, Slim Shady is Eminem’s alter ego, one he assumes to deliver hard-hitting albeit controversial lyrics. It all started in 1997 when he released an album called Slim Shady EP and Slim Shady LP shortly afterward. The rapper chooses to adopt his alter ego when he wants to release controversial songs that might receive some backlash.
