The Golden Globes Isn’t the Only Place Taylor Swift has Proven to be the Most Supportive Artist in Hollywood
Taylor Swift is an American singer-songwriter whose talent knows no bounds. She has created Folklore in pop culture history by being the first billionaire with music as the main source of income. From best-selling albums like Cruel Summer or 1989 to being named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year, Swift’s future is brighter than a Swarovski diamond.
Taylor Swift is a well-known advocate for artist’s rights and women’s empowerment. She is always there to cheer on other artists, even if she does not end up winning anything. Although the Golden Globe is the recent addition where she has been uber supportive despite Eras Tour losing to Barbie, it is not the only place she has proven herself to be the most supportive artist in Hollywood.
Taylor Swift Is An Absolute Trooper When It Comes To Supporting Other Artists In Hollywood
Her love for dancing to artists at award shows and giving them standing ovations (sometimes being the only one doing that) is well documented. Head back to the Grammys 2014, and one can see Taylor Swift giving the moves on Beyonce, then Imagine Dragons, and Kendrick Lamar. She did not win any of the four Grammys she was nominated for, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album, but that did not stop her from grooving it up and showing her full support to the artists.
In 2019, when Swift was accepting her Billboard Woman of the Decade award, she made sure to allude to Billie Eilish, who won the Woman of the Year award at just 17. Later, Eilish also expressed her gratitude, saying,
“I was like 11 at the time. I was in a choir and I was learning to play piano and you [Taylor Swift] took care of me.”
At the 2023 Grammys, she again made headlines for her supportive and selfless nature. She again danced and sang along with each performance without giving two hoots to what musical elites might make of it. During a 2014 appearance on NBC’s Late Night, the Anti-Hero singer told Seth Meyers (via. Glamour),
“I used to get really nervous at awards shows because, seemingly, they’re a huge pressure cooker. And everybody seems to be sitting there trying to look more unaffected by being at this award show than the person next to them. That can have an affect on you, and so you’re in the front row and you’re sitting there like, ‘Maybe I should sit here like this.’”
She continued,
“A couple years ago I just decided, ‘No. This is the coolest concert you could ever go to. This is like all these incredible acts playing their biggest songs and I get to be front row and I’m going to dance during this because I feel like it—and not because it looks cool, because it doesn’t.”

In this very 2023 Grammys, she also gave a standing ovation to her ex, Harry Styles, when he won the first award of the night for Best Pop Vocal Album. Swift also applauded Harry Styles’s As It Was performance at the ceremony.
Taylor Swift is indeed an inspiration to many and her desire to uplift artists around her makes her even more worthy of respect.
Taylor Swift Had The Sweetest Reaction To Emma Stone’s Win For Poor Things At The Golden Globes
Taylor Swift and Emma Stone have been besties for a decade. Emma Stone showed up at Swift’s Eras Tour concert three times and Swift was there to support Stone at the premiere of Poor Things. This supportive award show attendee of the decade jumped to her feet and clapped to no end when Stone’s win was announced at Golden Globe 2024.
After the win, when Stone was being interviewed, she made a quip and said (via. Billboards)
“What an a–hole, am I right? I’ve known her for almost 20 years, so I was very happy she was there. She was also nominated tonight, which was wonderful, and, um, yes, what an a–hole!”
