The Office Star Who Brawled With John Krasinski On Screen Makes DC Debut With John Cena’s Peacemaker Season 2
Remember Roy, the hotheaded ex-fiancé of Pam from The Office? The one who famously clashed with Jim Halpert (John Krasinski)? Well, get ready to see David Denman trade Scranton for the gritty world of DC Comics! Denman has landed a role in the second season of John Cena’s action-comedy series, Peacemaker.
While details about his character are under wraps, Denman joins Sol Rodriguez (Star Trek: Picard) who will portray Sasha Bordeaux, a skilled martial artist with ties to both Batman and a clandestine organization. This casting news adds another layer of intrigue to Peacemaker’s sophomore season, which promises to be a wild ride with the returning creative force of James Gunn and a stellar cast.
From Dunder Mifflin to Peacemaking: The Office’s David Denman Joins John Cena in Peacemaker Season 2
A confrontation (hopefully not as violent as the one with Jim!) is coming right at your screens in the next season of Peacemaker! TheWrap reports that David Denman, best known for his portrayal of Roy Anderson on The Office, has been cast for the second season of the HBO Max series.
Viewers of The Office will be familiar with Denman from his role as the gregarious ex-fiance Roy, played by Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer). A prosperous career outside Dunder Mifflin has been cultivated by Denman, who has starred with Denzel Washington and Queen Latifah in films and television series such as Bosch: Legacy, Mare of Easttown, and most recently, The Equalizer 3.
On the other hand, Sol Rodriguez has been confirmed to play Sasha Bordeaux, a talented martial artist with connections to Bruce Wayne and Checkmate, a covert organization in the DC Universe. However, specifics about his role are still under wraps. The actress adds her background from playing Teresa Ramirez in the second season of Star Trek: Picard. She’s also been on television in the shows Grachi and Devious Maids—as well as the Netflix movie Holiday in the Vineyards.
Sol Rodríguez and David Denman have been cast in ‘PEACEMAKER’ Season 2.

Peacemaker Season 2 is even more exciting in light of this casting announcement. John Cena is returning to the role of the extravagant antihero with a perverted sense of justice who serves as the film’s title character. Season 2 sees James Gunn, who wrote and directed the first season, return in those roles. Steve Agee, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, and Danielle Brooks are among the returning cast members.
Peacemaker season 2 looks to be an exciting and funny addition to the DC Universe, thanks to a diverse cast and James Gunn’s creative vision behind the scenes.
Peacemaker new recruits: Who’s joining the cast for Season 2?
This information comes after the earlier rumor that Frank Grillo, star of The Purge franchise, has joined the cast. In the upcoming animated series Creature Commandos, he will voice Rick Flag Sr., the same character he will be playing in this role. Naturally, John Cena reprises his role as “Peacemaker,” and several actors from the first season of the show return, including Steve Agee (John Economos), Jennifer Holland (Emilia Harcourt), and Danielle Brooks (Leota Adebayo).
