‘The tipster was Angelina Jolie’: Rolling Stone Founder Jann Wenner Reveals Angelina Jolie Broke Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Up by Leaking Proof of Affair to Media

Recently, the co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine, Jann Wenner, revealed in his memoir, Like A Rolling Stone, that, in 2005, actress Angelina Jolie herself revealed her relationship with actor Brad Pitt to the media. At the time, the actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston. The memoir revealed that Angelina Jolie was the one who set up the famous pictures of her and Brad Pitt walking on the beach.

The two were captured in May 2005, when there were rumors that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are filing for a divorce. The pictures were a “worldwide scoop” as per Jann Wenner.

Angelina Jolie planned everything

In the memoir, Jann Wenner revealed that the photographer who took those pictures was provided with all the information about where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt would be staying, including the time they would take a walk on the beach. The actress planned out everything. The pictures were captured in May 2005 and at the time, things were not good between Brad Pitt and his wife, Jennifer Aniston. Despite the photos, the two did not publically announce their relationship until Brad Pitt’s divorce was finalized in October 2005.

Jann Wenner said it was a “worldwide scoop”

Jann Wenner, the co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine, talked about the pictures in his memoir. He claimed that the pictures shook the world. He told PageSix,

“We got the photo, we got the proof, we had the worldwide scoop, the debut of Brangelina. The tipster was Angelina.”

Jann Wenner said the debut of Brangelina was all over the news. In 2006, the couple welcomed their first baby. They got married in 2014 but filed for a divorce in 2016. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were together for seven years.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are currently battling over their French winery

While they are already battling over the custody of their children, Angelina Jolie’s company, Nouvel, has filed a $250 million lawsuit against Brad Pitt for taking control of the French winery they bought together in 2008. The lawsuit accused the actor of trying to “seize control” of the French winery that they bought when they were together “in retaliation for the divorce and custody proceedings” and to “ensure that Angelina Jolie would never see a dime” of its profits.
