Spanish actress-model Elsa Pataky is popularly known as Chris Hemsworth’s wife, but she has appeared on the television series Queen of Swords as Señora Vera Hidalgo. The actress has appeared in over ten Spanish movies along with being a part of Hollywood projects, including the Fast & Furious series as Elena Neves. Pataky was also a stand-in for Natalie Portman in the post-credit scene in Thor: The Dark World.
The model actress married the Marvel actor in 2010 during the Christmas holidays, and they share three children. But before she got married to Chris Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky’s most notable relationship was with The Pianist actor, Adrien Brody, who not only owned a castle but also never shied away from expressing his love for her. The two went their separate ways for reasons unknown.

Actor Adrien Brody, who at the time was dating Elsa Pataky, shared with Hello Magazine that they met in 2006 during a dialect class where Brody went to work on his southern Spanish accent and Pataky was working to improve her English dialect. He shared with the publication that he was completely spellbound the first time he saw her. He added that he told the actress later that because she looked so beautiful and lovely, he was very self-conscious during the lessons.
The two of them later met in Spain and quickly became a couple and showed up at red-carpet events together. The actor never shied away from expressing his love for the actress-model. The Things mentioned that the reporter who took the interview of the two mentioned that Brody took Pataky’s hand while saying,

Thus, he purchased the Stone Barn Castle, a historic dwelling in Central New York. It was the place the actor thought he would grow old with Pataky in and started the renovation. Pataky and Chris Hemsworth are one of the most beloved couples in the industry who met in 2010 via a talent agent, and the actor addressed their relationship in an interview with Elle, stating,
There was no light bulb moment. From the first time we met, we just made sense. She’s fun. She’s outgoing, and she has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try and keep up with.
The actress-model earlier this year spoke to Hola! Spain, who, upon being asked about her marriage with the actor, stated that they are doing well but added that just like every marriage, they have their ups and downs. She said that it’s not easy, as she describes relationships as a ‘continuous paradise’. She mentioned that all marriages require a lot of time and work, noting that the partners have to build them little by little with good moments.
Elsa Pataky also spoke about Hemsworth’s decision to slow down his work life and focus on his family and health. She added that it’s always good to find moments where they can eat dinner or be alone because, with three kids, it ain’t easy. She concluded that Hemsworth’s decision has allowed them to enjoy their time together as a family.
Fans love the couple and how great they are together but still there are some people who at one point were invested in Brody and Pataky’s relationship who point out that her leaving him for Hemsworth is how villains are made.
