Actor Zachary Levi is widely known for his work as Chuck Bartowski from Chuck. He is also known for portraying the titular character in the DC Studios’ superhero Shazam! And its sequel. The actor has also voiced the beloved character of Flynn Rider in 2010’s Tangled and later in 2012’s Tangled Ever After.
Levi, who has also appeared in MCU’s Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok as Fandral, has been open about his mental health. He penned down his challenges and struggles with mental health and battling suicidal thoughts in his 2022 memoir Radical Love. Levi identifies as a libertarian and endorsed Donald Trump during the 2024 Presidential Election. He has opened up about the effects of his support for Donald Trump on his career.
Zachary Levi’s claims support now-elected Donald Trump DID NOT get him canceled
Actor Zachary Levi recently appeared on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast, where he spoke about endorsing Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Upon asking if he thinks that the industry canceled him because he decided to support Trump at the election, he said NO. He further explained,
Zachary Levi also noted that his projects are happening but mentioned that he still has to find out how things ultimately play out for him in the future. He added during the conversation that he has been busy filming and is yet to discuss the matter with his team. Levi replied that the team must have heard from people who would not want to work with me.
The actor was one of the few celebrities who had come out in support of Donald Trump and shared his view on his social media that there are plenty of messages from the people. He added that people are terrified to publicly say that they will vote for Donald Trump or be conservative in that way. (Via Variety)
Levi addressed the closeted Trump voters, stating that they can do whatever they want. He added that he’d never pressure any of his fans to vote for Donald Trump. Upon his appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, he said,

Laura Benanti is not a fan of her former Broadway co-star Zachary Levi
Upon her appearance on That’s a Gay Ass podcast, Levi’s former Broadway co-star Laura Benanti shared that she is not a fan of the actor. The two of them shared a stage in the second Broadway revival of the musical She Loves Me. She said,
The actress further noted that the actor would suck everybody in with his dance party energy, which did not impress her at all. She also went on to slam the actor’s theory about the now-late actor Gavin Creel, who passed away in September after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
Levi made some controversial and wrong statements about Creel’s passing and stated that it was because of the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine. Benanti said,
Benanti might not like her former co-star, and a lot of people might not agree with Levi’s political views, but it’s right when he says he’s booked.
