“There’s only one movie your dad wants to see”: Michael Keaton Uses Father’s Day to Promote Ezra Miller’s ‘The Flash’
The Flash is a forthcoming Warner Bros. movie starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. The highly anticipated film is the first standalone of Miller, who previously appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Justice League, and Peacemaker as The Flash. The upcoming movie is a chance for James Gunn to officially reboot the DCU with an in-universe narrative explanation.
Miller’s The Flash continues to be one of the most talked about DC Extended Universe flicks in recent history due to various characters returning to the franchise. The film’s introduction of the multiverse has created a buzz around fans as they wait for their superhero characters to return. Among them is Michael Keaton, who is returning to the role of Batman for the first time since Batman Returns (1992). Keaton, on the occasion of Father’s Day, took to social media to promote his upcoming film.

Ezra Miller is finally going on their solo adventure with The Flash. The upcoming movie in the DCU had already won acclaim for being one of the best superhero movies ever filmed after its test screening. The movie seems to be inspired by the Flashpoint storyline, where Barry Allen uses the Speed Force to try to stop his mother from dying but unintentionally changes history (and enters a whole different universe).
With the plot focusing on the multiverse, the film sees various superhero characters. Among them includes Michael Keaton, who reprises his role as Batman. The actor was the first live-action Batman of the modern era and has existed in his continuity. While tampering with the timeline, Allen arrives at an Earth where Batman is a veteran hero played by Keaton.
The 71-year-old, sharing his excitement for the film, took to Twitter to promote The Flash on Father’s Day. The actor said, “This Father’s Day there’s really only one movie your dad wants to see, The Flash.”

A Glimpse into Ezra Miller’s The Flash
One of DC’s most well-known characters, the Flash will take the lead in his movie for the very first time. Ezra Miller will play the role of the Scarlet Speedster in the upcoming movie.
The Flash accidentally makes modifications that lead to the birth of a universe while traveling through time to stop his mother’s death. To save the multiverse from crumbling, the meta-human encounters new versions of Batman and Superman in the film, which is based on the famous Flashpoint incident from DC Comics.
The Flash is set to release on 16 June 2023.
