“They don’t want to see me upset”: Amidst Reconciliation Rumors With Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Says Her Kids Won’t Let Her Have a “Romantic Thing”
Jennifer Garner who has been a rock-solid support for her kids since she parted ways from her ex-husband Ben Affleck shared a view of personal things about her life. In an interview with Allure, Garner who is a mother of 3 children talked about her perspective towards becoming a mother and how her children like her to be.
Since Garner is for now single she hinted that her kids don’t want their mom to be in a relationship for now.
Jennifer Garner’s kids don’t want to see her in a romantic thing
Jennifer Garner was married to Ben Affleck for 7 years. In 2005 the couple tied the knot and in 2018 their divorce was confirmed. Garner and Affleck have 3 children together and they are currently co-parenting but they are mostly with Garner.
While talking about if her children watch her performance in the movie, the 51-year-old actress said no. She said that watch their dad Affleck’s movies but not their mother on screen. Garner said,
“They don’t mind watching their dad, but they kind of want me to be their mom. They don’t want to see me upset and women cry more in what we do. And they don’t really want to see me in a romantic thing.”
The Alias actress hinted a bit during her interview that probably her children don’t want her to be romantically involved for now. As Affleck moved on and married Jennifer Lopez, the kids are trying to stay more connected to their mother.
Jennifer Garner says she has a lot of faith in her kids
Garner who has been a successful actress for so many years is now a great mother to her 3 kids. The Yes Day actress was a supportive wife when her former husband Affleck was battling Alcoholism. She was one of the reasons why Affleck won his battle with Alcohol addiction and got sober again. No doubt, Garner knows how to be a great mom. While talking about her kids Garner said,
“Your kids will really figure out who they are and what they are when they’re older, and most likely they will hew toward lovely. I have a lot of faith in my kids. I don’t love every behavior all the time, always. It’s gnarly growing up.”
She further added,
“We didn’t have the eyes on us that our kids have. I was such a first-time mom. My eldest daughter didn’t have a shot. She couldn’t have a free thought I was all over her. I was a nightmare for everyone around me.”
Garner also expressed her desire of being a mom since she was very young. She explained during her interview that she always knew she wanted to be a mom so raising kids was never difficult for her.
