“They don’t want you to succeed”: Charlotte Kirk Exposes the Dark Secrets of Casting Couch in Hollywood, Targets Some Powerful Celebrities
Hollywood actress Charlotte Kirk has frequently starred in movies and TV series, including Ocean 8. She previously made headlines in March 2019 for disclosing Hollywood’s shadowy side on the casting couch, accusing former Warner Bros. executive Kevin Tsujihara of coercing her for s-x in return for her roles.
Charlotte Kirk exposes Casting Couch exploitation in Hollywood
In an interview with podcaster James English, Charlotte Kirk revealed that numerous prominent faces in the industry manipulate young individuals for their sexual needs. Charlotte mentions that for significant roles, actors are hired based on their talent and merit. However, when it comes to assigning smaller parts, she says that the process can become unpleasant.
She calls it the casting couch, where those power cabals exploit aspiring actors by demanding sexual favors in exchange for roles. Many girls are ignorant about it, and some do whatever they ask. These influential people suppress the individuals’ dreams and aspirations, taking advantage of their vulnerability and naivety.
“Some girls don’t care, though. Some girls will do whatever it takes. A lot of these powerful people say they want to help you, but they don’t. They don’t want you to succeed, because if you succeed, you have a voice. If you have a voice, you’ll hear them. They’re scared that you’re going, to tell the truth”.

She also adds that a lot of these influential people offer that they would help achieve success. But they will do the opposite; they don’t want anyone to succeed. She calls them sadists who control and silence people, even though they might pretend to offer help.
“They don’t want you to succeed, because if you succeed, you have a voice. If you have a voice, you’ll hear them. They’re scared that you’re going, to tell the truth. They don’t want that. They’re sadists. They suppress you. They’ll do the opposite. They’re very bad people; there are a lot of awful people in Hollywood.”
Charlotte Kirk challenges NDA as Warner Bros. executive asserts his innocence
The former Warner Brothers executive Kevin Tsujihara asserted that he hasn’t committed any wrong; the things involved were purely consensual. The 32-year-old Kirk is currently undergoing a legal battle against Kevin Tsujihara to overturn a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). She argues that the NDA prevents her from revealing the complete account of her experiences and what happened.
Charlotte Kirk has mostly appeared in supporting roles in the industry. She had a minor role in the thriller Non-Stop as well as in Ocean 8 along with Sandra Bullock. She also had a lead role in the movie The Liar. Also appeared in films with Bruce Willis, including Vice, Marauders, and First Kill.
