The 2024 United States Presidential Elections will be held on November 5, 2024. The current President Joe Biden (Democratic Party) is running for re-election, opposite the former President Donald Trump (Republican Party), who lost the 2020 presidential election to Biden.

Reports suggest that if the two of them are nominated, it’s going to mark the seventh presidential election rematch, which is also going to be the first since 1956. YouTuber, actor, and professional boxer Jake Paul’s recent tweet has stirred up a new yet eye-opening conspiracy theory surrounding the former president.

Former President Donald Trump survives a possible ‘assassination attempt’

Ahead of the 2024 United States Presidential Elections, a gunman shot former President Donald Trump, who was addressing the audience at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. CBS reported that there were numerous shots fired, after which the Secret Service rushed to the stage to protect Trump.

However, in a video that Reuters published, viewers can see that Trump had just started to address the audience when shots were fired, and he quickly grabbed his right ear and ducked down to protect himself. The Secret Service agents appeared on stage to protect him, and before the former president was escorted back to his vehicle, he emerged about a minute later after being shot and said,

Make America Great Again.

The bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear, but he is now safe, and his son, Donald Trump Jr., shared with the publication that he is doing fine. The gunman was shot dead, along with an audience member. Two spectators were severely injured.

CBS reports have suggested that the gunman was shooting with an AR-style rifle from about 200–300 feet away, adding that he was probably on the top of the shed outside the security perimeter set up by the Secret Service. The spokesperson of the Secret Service, Anthony Guglielmi, shared that they have implemented protective measures and that the former President is safe.

Guglielmi also shared that multiple shots were fired at Donald Trump, adding that the situation is currently under investigation and the FBI has been notified. Donald Trump decided to share the incident and his injury on Truth Social and wrote,

I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response to the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed and also to the family of another person who was badly injured.

He further mentioned that he was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of his right ear, after which he knew something was wrong. Trump noted that he lost a lot of blood, which is when he realized what was happening. Mike Kelley of Pennsylvania mentioned to CBS News that the lady who was next to him was hit along with other people.

Donald Trump’s rival and current President Joe Biden, keeping the elections’ stress aside, issued a statement stating that he is grateful that Donald Trump’s safe and doing well. The president added that he’ll pray for Trump and his family and for everyone who was at the rally. He said he, along with First Lady Jill Biden, is grateful to the Secret Service for getting Donald Trump to safety. There is no place for this kind of violence in America, said current President Joe Biden.

YouTuber Jake Paul questions Donald Trump’s security

YouTuber & Professional boxer Jake Paul took to his social media account to address his concern over the possible assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. He wrote,

WTF, the Secret Service doesn’t start shooting until after the shooter did? This has so many red flags. The sniper was 150 yards out. The protocol for the secret service is to have the entire perimeter 500 yards out covered. His detail got compromised, or this was a mishap of epic proportions.

In another tweet, Paul supported the former president by writing that this incident is clear enough about who God wants to win. He added that when someone tries to kill God’s angels and the savior of the world, it just makes them bigger.

I said it over and over. How do you view the enemy from that distance, see his rifle, scope, and aiming stance. Decide not to fire. Wait for him to fire on president, then fire.

The statement from Jake Paul has been backed up by the audience members, with one saying, ‘Witnesses said multiple people tried warning police and the Secret Service for 3 minutes before the shooting began, and all attempts were ignored.’ Another one wrote that this entire thing looked like a set-up to have Donald Trump assassinated, but God was on his side and was protecting him. One of the users also asked, ‘How did the shooter know which roof was unoccupied?’

Surely, this situation has raised a lot of questions in terms of the security of the former president or anyone else. But the family of the former president noted that he’s safe and doing well.
