Angus Cloud‘s acting career took off in 2019 when he was cast as a member of the popular HBO series Euphoria. He played Fezco on Euphoria, a drug dealer, who instantly became a fan favorite. He had a strong relationship with Zendaya’s character, Rue. The actor passed away at the age of 25 on July 31. His death came as a shock to the industry. The North Hollywood actor’s family broke the news of his demise and revealed he was struggling with the death of his father.

As the news broke, fans and fellow Hollywood stars started pouring heartfelt tribute to the actor. Zendaya, in remembrance of Cloud, shared a post on her social media. She wrote,

“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor). I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it). I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love… “they could light up any room they entered,” but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way.”

The singer further expressed her deep condolences to Cloud’s family. Sydney Sweeney also took to Instagram to share a heartfelt eulogy to her co-star. She wrote,

“Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to post, and I’m struggling to find all the words. You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I’m sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 7-11 run. All my love is with you.”

Angus Cloud made his acting debut in the hit HBO series. It’s interesting to note that before Euphoria, Cloud had no acting background. The actor’s beautiful portrayal of the cynical drug dealer Fezco added, even more, charm to the Emmy-winning drama. A casting agent saw the late actor on a New York street and picked him to play Fezco “Fez” O’Neill in the hit series Euphoria.

Despite his initial skepticism, Cloud met with series creator Sam Levinson and casting director Jennifer Venditti. Both saw enormous potential in him. They allowed him to co-star in the show with Zendaya after “literally plucking him from the street.”

Because of his genuine performance in Euphoria, some people mistook Angus Cloud for his character Fezco. He respectfully rejected those charges. In addition to Euphoria, the 25-year-old has appeared in films such as The Line and North Hollywood. He was working on several projects in post-production at the time, including an untitled Universal Monsters film, Freaky Tales, and Your Lucky Day.
