The untimely death of Angus Cloud has shocked the world. According to a call made by the late actor’s mother to the Oakland Police Department, he was found unconscious with no pulse movement. His mother reported a possible overdose over the emergency call made around 11:30 am.

Angus Cloud’s name comes under the list of those actors who went on to make a name for themselves in Hollywood within a very short period of time. The Euphoria star Angus Cloud was an honoree at the media outlet Variety’s annual Power of Young Hollywood event and spoke about everything that comes along with the showbiz business. He shared about how people have no idea about what it takes to get that perfect shot. He said-

“It does bother me. When people are like, ‘It must be so easy! You get to go in and be yourself.’ I’m like, ‘Why don’t you go and do that?’ It’s not that simple. I brought a lot to the character. You can believe what you want. It ain’t got nothing to do with me.”

The speculations around the untimely death of the immensely talented actor have suggested that he was already struggling with the loss of his father Conor Hickey. His father died in May 2023, after struggling with a short illness. The family of Angus Cloud released a public statement, which mentioned-

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.  Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

The entire team of Euphoria also mourned the death of the actor on social media.

Late Actor Angus Cloud On Becoming A Part Of Sam Levinson’s Euphoria

Angus Cloud rose to fame with the Sam Lewinson-directed teen drama Euphoria and gradually scaled up to become the face of the global luxury brand Amiri. The actor made it large in his life from the streets of Brooklyn to the world of lights, cameras, and action. During an interview with the media outlet I-D in association with the luxury brand Amiri, the actor spoke about how he was spotted by a casting scout while he was hanging out with his friend. He recalled-

“I definitely thought it could be some kind of scam. But I ended up getting the agent’s phone number because she seemed really legit. They asked my buddy to come in too, and he said ‘No, fuck that, it’s bullshit.’”

While talking about his first project, the late actor mentioned that he was totally unaware of it. Angus Cloud said-

“They didn’t tell me anything about Euphoria. Then they brought me back in and they showed me the role, and it made more sense. Because in my mind, I was like, they stopped me because I look like I could be a star? Then I’m like, no, it’s because I look like I could be a drug dealer.”
An actor who was immensely talented and was a star in the making, left for his untimely abode abruptly.
