Actor Jacob Elordi rose to fame by starring in The Kissing Booth film trilogy before he starred as Nate Jacobs on HBO’s Euphoria. The Australian actor who has recently upset Andrew Garfield’s fans has also portrayed the character of Elvis Presley in the recently released Priscilla alongside Cailee Spaeny.
Jacob Elordi appeared in the psychological drama Saltburn directed, written, and co-produced by Emerald Fennell. He portrayed the character of Felix Catton and starred alongside Barry Keoghan as Oliver Quick. The movie went on to receive positive reviews with Keoghan earning his Best Actor nomination at the 81st Golden Globe Awards. Jacob Elordi replaces Andrew Garfield as Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein
According to a recent report from THR, Euphoria star Jacob Elordi is all set to play Frankenstein Monster in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. He is going to star alongside Moon Knight actor Oscar Isaac, Christopher Waltz, and Felix Kammerer. The movie is an adaptation of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel.
The Academy Award-winning filmmaker had previously mentioned that he had been eying The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield for the part. The actor had to unfortunately depart from the project due to strike postponements, which led to scheduling conflicts.
Oscar Isaac is all set to play Victor Frankenstein in the movie. According to Coming Soon, the filmmaker had dreamt of making Frankenstein for about fifty years since he saw the 1931 version of the novel. He had mentioned that now feels like the right time for him to make his version of the story which follows an obsessive doctor who creates a living creature from dead body parts.
The filmmaker is expected to weave a classic gothic story with his unique style and perspective while keeping the essence of the story alive. The movie will premiere on Netflix but no date has been set.

Andrew Garfield has always been one of the actors who is immensely adored by the audience. His cheerful personality has already won the audience’s hearts over the years so when the news of him being replaced by Elordi came out, they weren’t happy. Fans took to their social media to express their disappointment with the recent casting update.
