“This is like another level of crazy”: Salma Hayek Got a Surprise Visitor That Had Her Husband Screaming

However, Hayek’s domestic bliss was disrupted when she got a surprise visitor that drove her husband a bit mad.

Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinnault are the ultimate power couple in the celebrity world. Despite coming from vastly different cultural backgrounds and some sense of a language barrier, the couple has been together for over a decade and only getting stronger with time. However, there was one time when one minor misunderstanding and the difference in their accents could have caused a row between the couple. Hayek shared the story on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
“My husband went to the bathroom and he came back and he went very calm in a good mood, and he goes: Oh no that’s it. This is where you draw the line. This is like another level of crazy. I found you out, I found out what you were hiding’.”
These words give the impression that a big argument is about to ensue. But the instance instead took a hilarious turn. As Hayek continued sharing that her husband was enraged that she hid a dog in the bathroom. This had Hayek confused. And it was Pinnault’s French accent that caused the misunderstanding. It was a duck, not a dog.
Pinault was furious to discover the duck and claimed his wife had lied to him about making yet another animal a part of their family. Hayek on the other hand is a big-time animal lover and she was beyond delighted to see the duck, who had gotten in the house through a chimney.

The uninvited guest resulted in Pinault having an outburst and almost caused a fight between the couple.
