Thor: Love and Thunder is almost on its way and it kinda breaks a cheekyMCU record after surprising the reveal of its age rating.

Per FilmRatings.com, Thor’s upcoming adventure sports the PG-13 restriction, which happens to be a staple of the Marvel Studios’ franchise.

Thor: Love and Thunder Gets A PG-13 Rating

However, the conditions behind this rating are quite uncommon for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Love and Thunder has “intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, language, some suggestive material and partial nudity.” Various installments in the Marvel universe include some intense action and violence sequences but the next Thor film will be the first to feature some amount of nudity.

While the source of this news of nudity remains unclear, given the trailers of Love and Thunder, it looks very likely that it relates to Hemsworth’s exposed butt.

This Scene Will Also See Zeus!

This very scene in question sees Zeus (Russell Crowe) magically flicking off the God of Thunder’s clothes, exposing him to a shocked crowd of onlookers. While this video used in the promo includes a blurring effect over Thor’s nether regions, fans believe that this might not be the case in the theatrical release of the film.

Thor: Love and Thunder will see Hemsworth stepping into the shoes of Odinson. As he feels disgruntled with his life as a hero after the events of Endgame, Thor sets off on a journey of self-discovery to find out what he wishes for from his very existence. On this journey, he will go against with Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale, an evil villain who seeks to kill every God in the whole universe using the All-Black the Necrosword.

Addressing how he was able to get back Natalie Portman into the MCU, director Taika Waititi said that he wished to do something intriguing with her role. “I had to just talk to her about the fact that I wanted to change that character,” Waititi said. “Just like we’d changed Thor’s character for Ragnarok and to give her a bit more license to be adventurous and fun because Natalie’s a really funny person.”

Thor: Love and Thunder will hit the theaters on July 8.
