Disney brings the live version of The Little Mermaid

Though the film has been facing a few hurdles before its release, it is expected that The Little Mermaid will do quite well at the box office.

Previously, social media users claimed that they would not be watching the film as they were not happy with its star cast. Some users also expressed their disappointment with Flounder’s slim physique. And recently, they dragged Melissa McCarthy down by slamming her for her makeup. Amidst all this criticism, what keeps the hopes of the creators alive is that fraction of the audience that is highly anticipating the movie. The film is expected to gross $125 million domestically.

The film features Halle Bailey as the lead protagonist, alongside Melissa McCarthy, Jonah Hauer-King, and Javier Bardem. The live version of The Little Mermaid will mark its release on May 26, 2023.
