Interestingly, fans noted that the singer unintentionally manifested her success with a tweet.

Sabrina Carpenter reveals that writing Espresso was a manifestation tactic

The young artist, Sabrina Carpenter, who is roaring at the charts with her singles Espresso, Please Please Please, and more from her recently released album Short n’ Sweet, during an interview with The Guardian, opened up about writing the song as her manifestation tactic. She said,

It was a manifestation tactic because no one liked me romantically at that point—no one was obsessed with me. I didn’t have anyone I was even talking to. I had always been delusional, in that sense.

Carpenter also appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, who also reminded the artist that back in 2016, she had tweeted,

People are always scared to give me caffeine. I don’t know why those little espresso things taste cute and I like them.

She laughed and pointed out that she was 15 years old when she tweeted that and was drinking caffeine. The tweet dates back to the time when the music artist had started working on her music. The tweet has now aged well, and with her hard work and dedication, Sabrina Carpenter has managed to achieve what she desired. In her interview with Paper Magazine, she once again says that she wouldn’t have been able to achieve the success she has today if she hadn’t manifested or looked forward to it and worked hard for it. She explained,

I don’t know how to describe it. When you’re a child and you just have a feeling of, I know I’m going to do this someday. I know I’m going to do this for the rest of my life. ‘I know this is the path I need to follow; whatever that means for me and whatever success means for me is what I am destined for’. I have dreams and goals, and I will say I’m a little bit of a freak manifester sometimes, which is a blessing and a curse depending on how you look at it.

Carpenter added that she believed deep down that this was the career path she was always meant to walk onto. The artist concluded that she never doubted herself or the path she was walking onto.

Sabrina Carpenter reacts to Adele stating Espresso is ‘her jam’

Jimmy Fallon asked Carpenter about a video clip that went viral of Adele, who, while sitting on stage during her Las Vegas residency, shared with the audience at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace about how she’s adjusting to the Vegas time zone after her break. She said,

As I got in bed last night—‘cause that’s a very late night for me; normally I’m in bed by 9. p.m.— I found myself singing, ‘I’m working late, ’cause I’m a singer.’ That Sabrina Carpenter song! That song is my jam.

The young artist stated during the interview that it was a mind-blowing thing for her to know that Adele knew her and her song. Carpenter took to her social media to share with her fans that her album is officially out and that she feels lucky that each time she writes a new record, she learns a little bit more about herself and can create from that place.

She mentioned that creating Short n’ Sweet was one of the most special, honest, up-and-down, stupid, and fun experiences of her life. The music artist added that she thought if something was funny enough to make her laugh, then maybe it belonged in a song. She went ahead to thank everyone involved in the making of her album.

Short n’ Sweet is available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
