One such celebrity couple is Tiger Woods’ and Erica Herman, whose six-year-long romance became bitter as they parted ways this year. While some couples quietly separate, this pair is stealing the spotlight for their controversial split. In March 2023, it was revealed that the golf legend and Herman had split as she filed a lawsuit against her longtime boyfriend, asking to be removed from a non-disclosure agreement she signed in 2017.
Tiger Woods and Eric Herman’s messy relationship
In recent years, Tiger Woods relationship with Eric Herman has caught everyone’s attention, as both former couples have become topics of discussion. The duo made their first appearance at the Presidents Cup in September 2017. Yet they gave another major hint of their affair as they were packed on the PDA in 2018 after Woods won his first golf tournament in five years at the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
In February 2021, news broke that Tiger Woods was injured in a car crash. A source told a US magazine that his girlfriend is very supportive of him in these tough times, adding,
“Herman dropped everything to be with Tiger the moment she heard what happened, and she’s been by his bedside, holding his hand, and telling him everything’s going to be ok. He’s a champ, and he’s got this.”
Soon after news began to circulate that Herman was filing a lawsuit against her boyfriend, fans started speculating about their possible split. In the document that Woods asked her to sign, she cited the Speak Out Act this year, which allows NDAs to be nullified in cases of sexual assault or harassment.
Tiger Woods and Erica Herman’s court battle
Eric Herman and Tiger Woods messy public split has become the center of attention. In the court papers obtained by TMZ, the outlet reported that Herman is seeking to repeal a non-disclosure agreement she alleges against Woods, which he made her sign at the beginning of their relationship in 2017. She is suing the ace golf legend for $30 million, pleading that he forcefully kicked her out of their home by tricking her. According to documents, she and Tiger Woods broke up last October. The former couple were living together in Woods Hobe Sound home for 6 years.
According to Erica Herman, her boyfriend convinced her to pack a suitcase in October 2022 for a short vacation. Tiger Woods dropped her off at the airport, and he told her there that she couldn’t go back to their house as she was being locked out.
In the documents, she also alleges that one of Wood’s lawyers met her at the airport with an exclusive proposal to settle any outstanding issues between the couple. She also claims they seized more than $40K in cash she had at the house and accused her of doing something horrible in order to get the money.
