Tom Brady Shared Cryptic Quote After Gisele Bundchen’s Candid Interview
After thirteen years of marriage, the former couple filed for divorce last year. Despite the fact that they are no longer on the same path, the former power couple is still there for each other, and the time they spent together inspires them to keep going.
Gisele Bündchen has a fearless and daring personality. After all, becoming the face of the fashion industry is no easy task. But she once attributed it to a few special people in her life, one of whom was her ex-husband. Similarly, while getting candid about her divorce, Bundchen stated in an interview with Vanity Fair that she did not give Brady an ultimatum to retire and that the rumors were “very hurtful.”
In response, the 45-year-old former NFL player shared an Instagram story on Wednesday, March 22, to post a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Some of the message’s lines read,
“What is success? To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends.”
His social media post about “false friends” came just hours after his 42-year-old ex-wife revealed the details of their divorce in a rare tell-all interview.
What did Gisele Bundchen have to say about the split?
In a candid cover story for Vanity Fair’s April 2023 issue, published on 22nd March, the 42-year-old supermodel referred to the highly publicized divorce as “the death of my dream.” Gisele Bündchen has opened up about her divorce from Tom Brady for the first time.
“What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle,” Bündchen said in response to the “very hurtful” speculation about her thoughts on Brady’s football career.
“Listen, I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever,” she continued. “If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and to conquer.
The athlete and model married in February 2009 and have two children: Benjamin Rein and Vivian Lake. Brady also has a 15-year-old son named John ‘Jack’ Edward Thomas with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.
Despite the dissolution of their marriage, the now-ex-couples remain dedicated to raising their children.
