Tom Brady Makes Gisele Bundchen Furious, Tries To Get on Her Nerves By Saying He Will Return to 24th NFL Season as He’s on ‘Borrowed Time’
Tom Brady, Seven-time Super Bowl champion and ex-husband of Brazilian top model Gisele Bundchen is in his 23rd NFL season. This season is his third with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brady revealed that his personal life was getting affected due to the game. In a recent interview for an episode of a Let’s Go podcast, when asked about his plans for the 24th NFL season the footballer said “That’s right, that’s right. I’m on borrowed time anyway, so”. This statement might make his Ex-Wife angry as the game was the main reason for the separation of this couple.
Tom Brady chose sport over his Family
According to the news, Bundchen was worried about Brady getting injured and asked him to quit the game several times. After many arguments she finally asked him to choose between family and football, NFL champion made up his mind not to retire for one more season leaving Bundchen with no choice but to file a divorce.
“She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house,” he added. “She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage. So I needed to make a change in that. Her point was, ‘Well, yeah, of course, this works for you. It all works for you. But it doesn’t work for me.’” As a sports lover, he had no plans to quit playing. It caused a heated argument between the couple which led them to file for divorce.
Recent statements by Brady will surely charge up the argument between him and Bundchen, but the Super Bowl champion showed no regrets for making his decision of playing one more season.
Is Tom Brady going to continue playing in the NFL?
The seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback said on Sunday that he will, in fact, play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022, his 23rd NFL season. He announced this by posting on social media “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG”.
He hasn’t mentioned anything clearly about his plan for the 24th NFL but it seems that someone who is this dedicated to sports will surely continue playing in the 24th NFL season. However, choosing career over everything came with a cost for Tom Brady.
