“I had many pinch-me moments. I remember being in a car with him in Rome, we’d been working for months, I’d known him for over a year and yet I looked at him and went “I’m in a Tom Cruise film”. And he was like “I know. And I’m in a film with Hayley Atwell”
The Ant-Man star explained that during the car scene when Atwell was inside the vehicle with Tom Cruise, she was amazed by the fact that it was indeed the actor, and expressed her astonishment. While Atwell was blurting out, Cruise had a cheeky response that thrilled the actress.

The eighth installment of the film series was set for a release this year, however, according to THR, Mission Impossible 8 has been pushed back to 2025. Fans who were eagerly anticipating part two, have to wait for another year. The movie was previously titled Dead Reckoning Part Two, but now it will have a fresh title.
Despite its release in 2025, Tom Cruise has a massive and strong fanbase eagerly anticipating the return of the iconic IMF agent. The upcoming film will serve as the sequel to the previous part featuring Cruise as Ethan Hunt, and the return of other actors like Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, Pom Klementieff, and Vanessa Kirby. The eighth installment will also have some newcomers including Hannah Waddingham, Janet McTeer, and Lucy Tulugarjuk.
As Waddingham’s involvement in the next film was announced, she praised Tom Cruise during her appearance at Saturday Morning (via The Independent) and said “He is without doubt one of the loveliest and encouraging, positive and inspiring human beings I have ever met.
