Tom Hanks’ Son Chet Punishes Ex-Girlfriend With $11K Fine for Dragging Oscar Winning Dad to Court Over Assault Case

He is the son of Tom Hanks, one of Hollywood’s most adored and regarded actors. But unlike his legendary father, Chet Hanks, who was born Chester Marlon Hanks, has had a rather rocky road to fame, beset by a number of scandals. To name one, his former girlfriend, Kiana Parker has accused him of being involved in an assault case. 

She managed to make the 32-year-old actor and musician the subject of a temporary restraining order in 2021. She alleged that he assaulted her repeatedly throughout their relationship.

And now, according to recent reports, the third child of Tom Hanks has demanded that his ex-girlfriend ‌be sanctioned for defiantly withholding crucial evidence in court. This comes after Parker dragged his very well-known father into the case as a key witness. 

The Your Honor actor and Parker split in 2021, and since then, things have been chaotic. Early in 2021, his former girlfriend was granted a temporary restraining order against Tom Hanks’ son. She claimed that throughout their relationship, he repeatedly attacked her.

How did it all begin?

Chet Hanks, the son of Hollywood actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, was being sued for alleged assault and battery by Kiana Parker, his former flame.

She started dating Hanks in March 2019, and they allegedly moved in together a year later, per a petition submitted to a court in Fort Bend, Texas. In three alleged arguments between the former couple in late 2020, she claimed the Empire actor threatened her and put his hands on her “forcefully.”

One of the alleged incidents happened on October 18, 2020, when Parker claimed she traveled to New Orleans to support her ex-boyfriend’s performance. The two allegedly argued while staying at the Windsor Court Hotel. 

In addition, she alleged that Hanks “grabbed her by the wrist and forcefully pulled her to himself” during their outdoor ventures. He started “verbally assaulting her,” and he later “became aggressive and hostile.”

However, according to court records obtained, Chet Hanks has recently demanded that Kiana Parker, be made to pay $11,000 for her deeds.

Chet Hanks calls his former girlfriend a ‘pathological liar’ 

Apparently, Kiana Parker has informed Chet Hank’s attorneys that she intends to call his well-known father as a witness. She claimed that Tom Hanks suggested a “spiritual healer” to her in order to alleviate “the emotional distress she experienced while living in Los Angeles” with his son.

Meanwhile, Chet Hanks stated in his most recent motion that he desires sanctions against Parker for dragging his father and for her refusal to provide ‌fundamental evidence.

The 32-year-old musician/actor claimed that he requested specific communications. He added that she has claimed that he has destroyed her phones “during his various attacks” and that she is unable to access old text messages. However, she admitted that she did not have an iCloud backup on her phone.

According to Chet Hanks’ attorney, he thinks there has been fraud and that records have been destroyed. His motion read: 

“The Document Requests are key because in Plaintiff’s opinion the Defendant is a pathological liar, who will say anything under oath. The documents are how you get to the truth. Defendant will simply not say how documents got destroyed. Defendant will simply not say how documents cannot be retrieved.”

For the unheard, Chester Hanks, also known as Chet, has caused his family a lot of problems throughout his adolescence. It got to the point where authorities had to admit him to a rehab center at the age of 17.
