The mid-credits scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage has managed to create a buzz among the fans. The scene showed Eddie and Venom lowing down on a tropical island so that they are not arrested by the police after they defeat Carnage. As they are laying in bed and watching TV, Venom offers to show Eddie a glimpse of the vast knowledge that the symbiote hive contains. But then as Venom begins to show him, there is a disruption that occurs and it changes Eddie’s room to a nice resort hotel on another island. The TV then shows J. Jonah Jameson outing Peter Parker as Spider-Man.

The Mid- Credit scene seemed like a massive hint at Venom could be making its way in MCU ahead of No Way Home.

But Tom Holland just stated that the film feels like the “end of the franchise” but it may mean that his character or at least a fraction of his universe is the one colliding with Venom. Sony is currently running parallel to the MCU but has been slyly even setting up pieces for its own Sony Spider-Man Universe.

There have been hints about Vulture appearing Morbius but nothing has been revealed. But considering that Venom is watching the same footage from Far From Home, we can assume that character is in the same reality as the Avengers… for now.

Tom’s comments could also mean that Peter could revert to a universe that includes Venom… but that would also mean that Venom can possibly end up in the world with any other Spider-Man.

Marvel
Spider-Man

Sony and Marvel Studios have a strong relationship when it comes to Spider-Man in the MCU. But there have been times when the relationship faltered and Peter couldn’t be included in any more MCU films before the new deal was worked out. But with the multiverse giving the possibilities of rewriting these films operate in MCU and thanks to variants and parallel timelines, it is highly possible that Sony can have their own share too.

Depending on how No Way Home ends, it’s possible Venom could become the nemesis to the new Peter Parker or maybe the old one!
