In a surprise and funny turn of events, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland launched his non-alcoholic beer brand Bero a couple of months ago, and it became available at Target for customers to purchase. Like a good businessman, Holland decided to buy his beer but was refused.

Holland shared a video on social media that he was on a hunt to find his Bero beer in a Target store in the United States. After he couldn’t find it in the first store, he headed towards the second which also did not have Bero. The actor jokingly added that it’s not the best marketing.

After failing to find one at two Target stores, he finally found his beloved beer on his third Target store visit. The Spider-Man actor finally shared (via People),

This is a bigger target, so I feel more hopeful. Okay, so success, I found some. They wouldn’t accept my ID because it’s English, and I couldn’t prove my age, so a really lovely employee scanned their ID. Kind of ironic that I wasn’t allowed to buy my own product.

The Spider-Man actor had previously shared with People that when he ventured into the non-alcoholic world, he realized that there was a void for a true, premium brand. Holland noted that he created Bero for himself because he was craving a product that helped him feel included.

He had shared with Forbes that his first year of being sober was really challenging but if he had Bero, it would have helped.

The 28-year-old actor is widely famous for his work as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and became one of the biggest stars of the franchise. In his interview with Men’s Health, Tom Holland revealed the moment he’d leave the industry. He said,

When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and Dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.

Tom Holland took a yearlong break from acting but is coming back and will appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, slated for a 2026 release. He’d also start filming for Spider-Man 4.

It was in fact on his break when he launched his non-alcoholic beer, Bero. He shared with the publication that back in 2022, he decided to take a month-long break from alcohol, and it was then that he realized that alcohol was tightly woven into his life. Holland added,

I didn’t have bad experiences, but I would drink enough so that I would ruin my next day.

Over a couple of months, he started to see the positive effects of his decision to quit drinking. He noted that he is quite strong-willed, and when he decides to do something, he makes sure that he does. Tom Holland shared that he leaned on his close ones when he was adjusting to his sobriety.

Tom Holland is not only a great actor but also a great boyfriend and the internet’s favorite. Fans have admired the relationship he and Zendaya share as they talk very little about each other during interviews but make sure to support each other.

Similarly, during his recent interview, he added that he does not walk the red carpets with Zendaya because it’s not his moment; it’s hers, and if they walk together, it becomes about them.
