Transformers 7 is releasing and Paramount has revealed some exciting details for the same. For starters, the movie has been officially subtitled Rise of the Beasts.

The Transformers: The Last Knight did not do quite well at the box office and got really harsh criticism from the critics and as a result the franchise had no choice but to shift its focus to a smaller scale movies with 2018’s Bumblebee prequel which had earned high praises for its loyalty to the Transformers cartoon.

The Paramount Pictures is now following up on the Bumblebee’s success with a brand new movie of a similar style and here are all the details about it yet.

Just as the name suggests, Transformers : Rise of the Beasts will be mostly based on the Beast Wars: Transformers cartoon from the 1990s which was the time when the name was given to these Cybertronian robots who turned into mechanical animals instead of cars or any other vehicle.
This story is set on a prehistoric version of Earth on which the descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons – Maximals and Predacons crash landed while travelling through a time portal.

This movie will be based in 1994 midway between Bumblebee and Michael Bay’s Transformers films but the Maximals and  Predacons will still appear.

Transformers 7 will get the Terrorcons to live action with their leader Scourge who will be the main antagonist.

The classic Beast Wars characters who are expected to see here are Rhinox, Air- Razor and of course Optimus Primal.
Till now it was unclear how these characters will enter the world of 1990’s Earth but there is always a possibility of time – travel storyline.

They have also released the logo if Transformers 7.

The most exciting thing to look forward to this movie is that we will get to see a massive and wide range of robot designs which possibly would be inspired by the original G1 Transformers cartoons.

They have also confirmed a new G1- loyal Optimus Prime design which will make him resemble more like Bumblebee.
Paramount have confirmed that the new movie will explore Optimus Prime more and give us the reason on why he always wants to defend humanity.

Transformers franchise has had its “prime” and even its low but they are really working hard to do everything right.
Transformers : Rise of the Beasts is set to release on July 24, 2022 and we are hoping it’s a hit.
