Somerhalder and the Twilight actress recently confirmed they have welcomed their second child. Reed, through her Instagram, broke the news of giving birth to The Vampire Diaries stars son.
The 35-year-old quietly gave birth to her son a few weeks ago at home. The actress shared details about her home birth via social media. Reed shared a glimpse of it in her story stating the day as one of the most beautiful ones of her life. The V Wars actor’s wife thanked her midwife through the Instagram story. She wrote, “[He was] born at home in water and surrounded by love, in an instant my heart doubled in size.”
The new mom and The Anomaly star are known for keeping their personal life private. They haven’t yet shared their five-year-old daughter’s face on social media. Reed added,
“As all of you know, I have very strong boundaries with social media, especially when it comes to children and what I choose to put out into the world. I wanted to share first so I can say thank you in advance for honoring those boundaries and for sending positivity, kindness and LOVE.”
