Talking about Megan Fox’s intimate scene, he found a great way to kind of build a safe environment for her. The filmmaker added that it allowed them to explore the intimate scenes and film something that felt unique. Dale, while talking about the particular s*x scene where Fox’s Alice tries to confuse Nick using Maggie’s voice, said,
There are certain aspects to these intimate scenes that are kind of different from others, where we’re intercutting with different actors back and forth. So we needed them to be on set together and kind of watching to make sure we were imitating what was being seen and everything.
The filmmaker also noted that an intimacy coordinator was present on set all the time to make sure that both Fox & Morrone felt comfortable when it came to the s*x scene. He revealed that he saw the scene like an action sequence and storyboarded it out, and the actors loved the idea because this way, they had a strong idea about how the scene should look on-screen.
S.K. Dale mentioned that he had pushed the s*x scene involving all three of them to a later date, so that all three actors could form a rapport before getting on. The filmmaker would love to work with Fox yet again and praised the actress for her work.
