WandaVision New Trailer Shows Glimpses of The Mind Stone
Disiney+ just released a brand new trailer for WandaVision, and it has caused quite the excitement with the viewers. The show stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany in the titular roles of Wanda aka the Scarlet Witch, and Vision.
The last time we saw these two characters, Vision died at the hands of Thanos in his quest for the Mind stone in Avengers: Infinity War. And while Scarlet Witch had a pivotal part at the end of Avengers: Endgame, we didn’t see anything about her beau.
Although its very apparent that Vision is alive? and kicking, the idea of the Mind stone (which gives This Vision its powers) was still a mystery. The latest trailer though shed some light on the matter.
The Mind stone first came into the scene with The Avengers, where Loki used the Sceptre given to him by Thanos to lead the Chitauri army to Earth. By the end of Avengers: Endgame the Mind stone is destroyed. But with the new trailer, we see the Mind stone again, even if it is still on the verge of getting destroyed. Again!
Disney+ Goes Big For TheDay!
On Disney’s Investors Day 2020, the streaming service released trailers for quite a few upcoming shows – including The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki and What If, along with WandaVision. And the WandaVision trailer was a little more elaborate that the last, with a few more hidden details.
Along with Olsen and Bettany, there was also Katherine Hahn – who for now is said to be playing a Nosy Neighbour, though chances are she might be a being with as well (just like Wanda!). We also saw the young Monica Rambeau played by Teyonah Parris and Kat Dennings’ Darcy Lewis (who we last saw in Thor: The Dark World). Randall Park is also returning to the MCU as Jimmy Woo, an FBI agent, who played the part of a parole officer to one Scott Lang in Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Wanda and Vision are living a suburban life in the middle of nowhere and things do not seem the way they are. Reality has been altered (obviously!), and the two Avengers don’t look to have a whole lot of control in what is happening around them. They are supposedly trying to fight for this new home they have built for themselves with tanks and bombs flying around the area.
Even though this new trailer shows a lot more than the previous ones, it still doesn’t give the viewers a whole lot to understand what is really going on. Marvel and Disney has been keeping the important things (like the plotline of the show) under wraps.
With so many different queries, and little to no answers, all we can do is wait for the show to start streaming so that we can watch it. As soon as possible! WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney+ from 15th of January, 2021.
