Megan Fox, who will be the voice for the Mortal Kombat 1 character Nitara, is not unfamiliar with celebrity cameos and voice-acting works. She is joining the NetherRealm Studios’ creation as the outworld vampire.

 A new video was released by NRS showing off the updated look of Nitara and some behind scenes with Fox within the vocal booth to show her skill with the character. Fans couldn’t help but notice how similar the character is to Fox’s real-life actions.

Fox has made headlines for her obsession with blood. Whether it’s centring her campaign with Blizzard around death, or her jokes on the rituals of carcass-eating, her eerie behaviour always raised the eyebrows of the public.

With her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, she sparked some controversy after making statements about drinking each other’s blood. It was a big thing on social media, with fans weirded out by the couple’s behaviour.

These things also gave birth to the widely believed conspiracy theory that Fox and MGK are vampires.

Now, with the newly released video, Megan Fox yet again makes similar statements which have fans side-eyeing the whole thing. The actress said that not only does she resonate with her character, but Nitara makes her explore some areas of herself that she is uncomfortable with.

Talking about her character, Fox said,

“I really like [Nitara], she’s a vampire which obviously resonates for whatever reason. It’s cool to be in the game because I’m not really just voicing it. It will be like, she’s kind of me. She comes from this weird realm, she is a type of vampire creature.”

The star further adds:

“She’s evil but she’s also good. She’s trying to save her people. I really like her. She’s a vampire which obviously resonates for whatever reason. It’s cool to be in the game, you know? Because I’m not really just voicing it, it’ll be like she’s kind of me.”

With all that Fox has said, it seems like the weird realm is about to get much weirder.

Fans Call Nitara the Perfect Role for Megan Fox

Seems Fox, who will be seen in Expend4bles has gotten the opportunity of a lifetime with getting to voice Nitara. Netizens have a lot of opinions about this reveal. But the most common is how Fox is similar to her character, given her infamous blood chugging.

The character hails from the desolate and dark realm of Vaeternus to join a fight in MK1. She fights to protect her race of vampires and has an affinity to blood aligns perfectly with Fox’s current image.

Nitara last appeared in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and made a cameo in the 2021 film Mortal Kombat 11.
