The Warner Brothers and Christopher Nolan were on good terms with each other until recently the billion-dollar production house went on to start a streaming network with HBO Max now known as Max. According to an interview given by Christopher Nolan to the media outlet The Hollywood Reporter, the Tenet director had shown disapproval against the noted production house and said- The Warner Brothers transformed itself from “the greatest movie studio” to “the worst streaming service.”.
During an interview with the popular media outlet Variety, the chairpersons of the billion-dollar production house Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy spoke about the various projects that are about to release this year from the production company – Barbie with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, Dune: Part Two with Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya and Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
While talking about Universal Pictures- backed Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, the Chairperson of the Warner Brothers Micahel De Luca spoke about how the production house is trying to get the Inception director back in the team. He said- “We’re hoping to get Nolan back,” he said. “I think there’s a world.”
According to an insider Christopher Nolan had received a seven-figure royalty check from Warner Bros. According to Michael De Luca, Pam Abdy, and the CEO of Warner Brothers, David Zaslav, the director deserved the bonus on the terms of goodwill. However, as this unfolds, it is evident that everything is in the hands of time, and Christopher Nolan.

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has already taken the internet by storm much before its release. From its star-studded cast to the much-hyped VFX- the upcoming movie is already making headlines. The movie is based on one of the incidents that went on to change the course of History and GeoPolitics across the globe. The story revolves around the Scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by the Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy and his contribution to the making of the atomic bomb. While talking about the color theme of the movie, Christopher Nolan discussed how it helps in understanding a few theories in the upcoming movie. The director said-
“I wrote the script in the first person, which I’d never done before. I don’t know if anyone has ever done that, or if that’s a thing people do or not… The film is objective and subjective. The color scenes are subjective; the black-and-white scenes are objective. I wrote the color scenes in the first person. So for an actor reading that, in some ways, I think it’d be quite daunting.”
Oppenheimer is one of the much-awaited projects of the five times Academy Award-winning director. With a budget of $100 million, the movie also focuses on creating the natural sound effect that was created by the dropping of the atomic bomb on the cities of Japan. Oppenheimer is set to release in the theatres on June 21, 2023, worldwide.
