We all like feeling cool doing stunts, but I can’t claim all the stunts. I like doing my own stunts but I also appreciate that [the stunt crew] makes it look cooler.
It’s a far cry from the roles that have earned her critical acclaim, such as her Oscar-nominated performance in Little Women. It seems she has developed a strong interest for something entirely new. However, switching from delicate, emotional roles to intense action scenes is a bold move that shows Pugh’s versatility.

At the panel, David Harbour shocked everyone by arriving in his full Red Guardian outfit. The 49-year-old playfully teased his co-stars for not doing the same, however, he had nothing but praise for Florence Pugh. The Stanger Things star said:
They’re all wonderful, but I do have a favorite, and her name is Florence Pugh. She is just electric to work with.
Even with a cast full of stars, Pugh’s character, Yelena Belova, is shining the brightest. Harbour praised the actress’ performance, pointing out the complex relationship between their characters. He described it as a clash between a self-centered narcissist and a deadly assassin—teasing fans with an exciting plot ahead.
Thunderbolts* is set to release on May 2, 2025.
