Even though the reason behind their split is yet to be confirmed, many sources claim that the NFL star’s decision to return to American Football after retiring earlier this year made his wife upset. Gisele Bündchen once also explained in an interview that she expects the quarterback to spend more time with his family as she cannot look after her own ventures because their kids keep her occupied.

American football player Tom Brady once talked about the hurdles he and his wife, Gisele Bündchen, faced in their marriage. He explained that it often stems from their “ambitious” personalities. The athlete told E! News,
“I think the challenging part for us is that we are very ambitious people. A lot of times I’m going one direction and she’s going the other – and it ships passing in the night. I want to support her and her dreams, and she wants to support me in mine.”
The two got married in 2009 and share two kids, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. Tom Brady was not wrong about Gisele Bündchen being ambitious as she was named Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program in 2009 and has also partnered with Swiss watch brand IWC as their first Environmental & Community Projects Advisor. The model’s net worth is a whopping $400 million.
Why are Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen ending their marriage?
The reason why they are ending their marriage after 13 years is still not officially confirmed. However, many sources have come forward to confirm that Tom Brady’s dedication to the sport may be the reason. In February 2022, Brady announced that he is retiring from American football to focus on his family. However, just six weeks later, he changed his mind as he announced that he is returning to the sport. This decision could be the reason why his marriage came tumbling down.

She wanted him to spend more time with his family and to look after their kids so she can expand her ventures.
