Widely known for his erratic social media posts and being an exceptional professional boxer, Ryan Garcia has once again proved why he’s called King Ryan. The highly anticipated match between him and fellow professional boxer Devin Haney was finally met with a result stratifying the boxer.

However, according to CBS, the match became a non-title on Friday after Garcia weighed in at 143.2 pounds, which meant that he was 3.2 pounds above the super lightweight limit. But this did not hold him back from putting on what is now described as his career’s best performance in the ring.

Garcia defeated Devin Haney, as he managed to floor him three times in a majority. The BBC reported that the scorecards 112-112, 114-110, and 115-109 saw the decision going in Garcia’s favor. After the match, Garcia said to the fans, (via Matchroom Boxing)

“You really thought I was crazy? You all lost your own minds. You guys overegg everything. You guys hate on me cuz I’m pretty and sh*t. At the end of the day, I’ve been boxing my whole life, and all I do is love God and try to help the children. You guys do not love the truth. The truth is, I put my f**king reputation on the line for all the kids in the world.”

During the post-match conference, Garcia said that he had been drinking every day to overcome the fact that he got divorced earlier this year. He added that he is not saying that he is proud of this but noted that he can do whatever he wants and still win.

Devin Haney is ‘disappointed’ with his performance against Ryan Garcia

Devin Haney, who was considered a crown favorite, witnessed his first defeat at the hands of underdog Ryan Garcia and is disappointed with his performance. Haney, however, still holds the title of WBC super-lightweight belt and is hoping for a rematch. DAZN reported that Haney mentioned,

“I would love a rematch. I gave him a shot; it’s only right he gives me a shot back. He didn’t make weight, so I’m still the champion. We can run it back.”

But it seemed like Garcia had fun taking the opportunity to once again mock Devin Haney and his relationship with Diddy and make remarks about the same. Diddy has been accused of s*xual assault. Gracia took to social media and shared,

“Bruh, pause, no. Well, y’all know the rest. Headed to Florida. Crazy shiii happens there; we will see was up.”

“Bro I thought he was going in for a kiss no cap. Diddy got him good. Devin whispered in my ear, ‘Come’ do me like Diddy Daddy. Pretty weird.”
