“We’re musically aligned in a lot of ways”: Camila Cabello Has Been Openly Hanging Out With Drake after His Infamous Defeat in Kendrick Lamar Feud
Pop star Camila Cabello and rap icon Drake surprised music fans by becoming good friends. They have been seen spending time with each other following Aub’s well-known feud loss to Kendrick Lamar.
The two rappers have been at odds since the early 2010s, and things heated up in March 2024 when Future, Metro Boomin, and Lamar released the song Like That. Even though there’s no clear winner, K-Dot has been more vocal in the ‘war of words’ and is considered victorious by many!

Rubin’s mansion party is known for attracting A-listers, and this year was no different. Reality stars, athletes, and other musicians joined the fun. Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly, and Tom Brady were all spotted at the event.
Drake is Featured on Camila Cabello’s Recent Album
Camila Cabello’s recently released fourth studio album, C,XOXO, featuring Drake’s two tracks: Hot Uptown and Uuugly. The 27-year-old recently shared how her musical journey with Drake started in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe (as reported by Billboard).
She explained that it all began with a simple direct message on social media. Being a big fan of the God’s Plan singer, she messaged him and her brave move paid off. The Señorita star said of Drizzy:
I feel like, at least from what I know of myself, I feel like we’re musically aligned in a lot of ways. I think we have a lot of the same taste, and lyrically as well. I actually slid into his DMs too, and I was like, ‘I’ve been listening to you so much for this album,’ a lot of the wordplay and my aspiration for bars.
Their collaboration really took off when Cabello sent Champagne Papi her idea for Hot Uptown and her finished parts. They bounced ideas back and forth and created a lively duet. Drake even added his catchy Uuugly outro.
