“We’re well aware of your all night partying”: Lindsay Lohan Was Humiliated in Public Letter By Producer Jane Fonda After Consistently Giving Excuses for Arriving Late
American star Lindsay Lohan emerged as a teen icon in the early 2000s with her roles in cult classics like Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. She first gained prominence in 1998 through her iconic role in the Disney family comedy The Parent Trap. However, her early stardom also came with another title, her being a true party animal.
The actress’s early work earned her child stardom who went on to become a leading actress in the industry. However, her career got a bump when she made her reputation of being unprofessional on set because of partying during her projects. Due to her continuous unprofessionalism, Georgia Rule’s producer took a jab at her.
Producer James G. Robinson Called Out Lindsay Lohan for Her Behavior

Due to her constant unprofessional behavior getting late on the sets of Georgia Rule or even not coming at all, film producer James G. Robinson called out the actress-singer, Lindsay Lohan, choosing to take legal action if her behavior did not improve.
In a public letter that was first posted on The Smoking Gun Web site, he wrote,
“You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was “heat exhaustion.” We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so called “exhaustion.” We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior.”
He stated that the star’s actions had been “discourteous, irresponsible, and unprofessional”. Adding that she “acted like a spoiled child” during the shooting of the film, her actions had “endangered the quality of this picture.”
The actress, later on, revealed that she did not receive the letter personally.
Jane Fonda Scolded Lindsay Lohan Over Her Late Arrivals on Set
The 36-year-old actress, Lindsay Lohan was not just slammed by the film producer but also by her co-star in the film. Due to her tardiness, Jane Fonda once spoke to her regarding the same.
In an interview with Vogue, the former told that she was scolded by her co-star for being late on set, however, the latter remembered things differently.
Lohan shared,
“I remember I was like three minutes late, and it was out that I was like three hours late. It was three minutes, and [Fonda] was waiting for me tapping her feet being like, ‘Lindsay, we’re all waiting.”
She recalled how she “was so embarrassed, it never happened again.” While Fonda recalled that she went up to her trailer and told her to get herself on set after talking with the former regarding her behavior on set.
Even after that, they had good terms with each other with the latter adoring the former a lot. She not only respects the Mean Girls star as an actress but also feels protective of her.
