Let’s take a step back to 2005. A woman we’ll refer to as K met Neil Gaiman at a book signing event in Sarasota, Florida, in 2003, when she was just 18 years old. Imagine a young fan, so very excited to meet her favorite author.

Two years later, they entered into a relationship. However, things weren’t as perfect as they seemed. K claimed that their experiences together were far from ideal.

Things took a troubling turn when K alleged that Gaiman had s*x with her while she was battling an infection, despite her pleas for him to stop. Not exactly the fairy tale ending we’re used to in Gaiman’s worlds.

Now let’s fast forward to February 2022. Enter Scarlett, a 23-year-old nanny in his New Zealand residence. She met Gaiman and—boom!—they hit it off fast. Hours after their first meeting, Scarlett claimed Gaiman assaulted her in a bath.

They ended up having a consensual relationship afterward. According to Rolling Stone, she described the s*x as “rough and degrading.” However, in July 2024, Gaiman fired back, denying all the allegations. But the damage was already done.

Amazon Prime Video’s Good Omens is shifting from a planned full season to a single 90-minute finale episode, set to film in Scotland in early 2025. This change comes after allegations of s*xual assault against executive producer and showrunner Neil Gaiman were reported.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant will return as Aziraphale and Crowley, respectively. While Gaiman has contributed to the script, he won’t be involved in the production.
