On The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Elordi sniffed the candle and gave his honest review. He even tried to slurp the candle, a nod to the steamy bathtub scene in the movie Saltburn. He said,
“Cailee, my co-star from Priscilla, actually sent me the videos of people doing this. I want to know who’s making the money, you know? My first thing was like, ‘Great, where’s my money?’ It smells like a washing room. Like detergent. His clothes are clean.”

The candle first gained public attention when various celebrities from Margot Robbie to Rosamund Pike held and smelled the candle on the Golden Globes red carpet. Robbie produced the movie Saltburn and was surprised to see a candle that commemorated the scene. On the other hand, Pike starred in the movie and swayed fans with her witty dialogue. Even Keoghan commented that he loves the candle and owns about 10 of them which are all burning in his house constantly.
