‘Which one’s going to the oven first?’: Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay Comes Under Fire For Brutal TikTok Video, Fans Defend By Asking Does Meat Grow on Trees?
“This lamb is so undercooked, it’s following Mary to school!”
Well, chef Gordon Ramsay took it a step further this time by following the little live lamb itself. Gordon Ramsay is quite probably one of the most popular chefs in the world, and he does not owe all that fame to his culinary skills per se. Ramsay is as much of an internet sensation as he is a chef, and he owes his wild fame to his ability to articulately insult people with a rage that seems to arise from the deepest recesses of his soul, and we all just get a laugh out of it.

Gordon Ramsay still hasn’t found the lamb sauce
However, this time around it seems like Gordon Ramsay is the one on the receiving end of flak, and that too for being what he’s famous for… insensitivity. The MasterChef USA judge posted a video on his TikTok account where he can be seen entering a pen of lambs to pick a little one out for his supper, while cheerfully singing, “Yummy yum yum. I’m going to eat you!”
A lamb then approached its slaughterer, to which the British restaurateur asked, “Which one’s going in the oven first?” He then pointed at a particular lamb, yelling “You!” and hopped into the enclosure, which caused a ruckus of panic among the little animals. The video concluded with Ramsay saying, “Oven time!”
The TikTok video was captioned, “The Lamb sauce was still not found in the making of this video …” – a hilarious reference to a viral 2006 Hell’s Kitchen episode clip, where Gordon Ramsay is livid with rage, yelling, “Where is the lamb sauce?”

Gordon Ramsay’s failed attempt at comedy
The latest TikTok clip has gone viral like hot cakes garnering a huge amount of likes but people haven’t taken kindly to the 55-year-old’s wannabe cheekiness. His obvious attempt at being funny has been dubbed as insensitive and distasteful by people in his comment section.
There were a series of negative comments under the video clip, like: “Alright I think Gordon has finally lost it. Someone do something before it’s to [sic] late”.
A popular sentiment of empathy for the animals was reflected by quite a few people who wrote stuff like, “Ok I am not a vegan or vegetarian but that crosses the line” and “I’m not vegan but this makes me really sad”.

“Does meat grow on trees?” – Fans ask Gordon Ramsay trolls
However, other fans were quick to show the sensitive ones a mirror, reminding them that meat doesn’t grow on trees and that these animals were in fact raised for slaughter. The people claiming that they’re not vegan or vegetarian but felt bad were laughed at. The bottom line is, that criticizing the video while being a meat eater was downright hypocritical.
