In Deadpool & Wolverine, we will see the two mutants team up to journey across the Multiverse to clean up a mess as informed by the Time Variance Authority. Emma Corrin’s Character in Deadpool & Wolverine
Since the cast for the movie has been announced, fans have been scratching their heads trying to figure out who will Emma Corrin be playing in the Deadpool movie. As if Wolverine’s return was not thrilling enough, Shawn Levy has packed the Deadpool trailer with references to the Avengers and other heroes, officially welcoming Deadpool and Wolverine into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Best known for playing Princess Diana in The Crown series on Netflix, Emma Corrin has quickly risen to fame as a versatile up-and-coming actor. The role played by them and Matthew Macfadyen had not been revealed previously. While we still don’t know what character Macfadyen will be embodying, the trailer gave a clear indication of Corrin playing Cassandra Nova in Deadpool & Wolverine. In a scene in the trailer, we see the back of the bald head of a person with pointy ears viewing situations unfold in front of them.
In a few interviews, Corrin revealed that they would be undertaking the role of a villain in Deadpool & Wolverine, making fans more eager to watch the movie. Corrin expressed that they don’t know much about the Marvel universe and have only watched Spider-Man and Black Panther to date. So naturally, they had to learn the intricacies of the plot and how everything connects. If Deadpool & Wolverine becomes a blockbuster hit, it will be the stepping stone for mutants entering the canon MCU. Apart from mutants, even parasitic beings like Mummudrai are also set to make an entry since Nova is one of them.

What Do We Know About Cassandra Nova?
According to the Marvel comics, Cassandra Nova is a parasitic being without a body. Once she comes to life on the astral plane, she develops a body similar to a human being and embraces every detail of how to behave like a human. Created in 2001, the character has been a part of the X-Men universe for a long time. Her powers are very similar to Charles Xavier, making her one of the most powerful foes in the comics. Given Nova’s multiversal connection, it is likely she will take the story ahead and even become one of the crucial pieces in the MCU puzzle rendered unfinished by Jonathan Majors’ debacle.
Moreover, Nova’s entry at such a turning point in the MCU marks a connection to the Secret Wars movie as well. She might be the thread that ties X-Men to the MCU while the Multiverse is still being explored. Deadpool and Wolverine forgetting their petty issues to unite against Cassandra Nova also stand as a testament to her strength. There has not been any final confirmation on whether Corrin is actually playing Nova in Deadpool & Wolverine, even though all the evidence proves the same.
