Who Is Trying to Sneak Extra Shots Into Guardians of the Galaxy? James Gunn Reveals… Vol. 3
The DC series, Peacemaker on HBO Max by James Gunn is coming to an end next week, but there’s still a lot to look forward to from the beloved director. While James Gunn is in production right now on MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and while it has been confirmed that the film will be the final time the entire team of Guardians will be getting together on the big screen, the crew and the cast are having fun and are currently attempting to make the most of their final journey together as a team. In fact, James Gunn also took to Twitter to share a funny image that was quite likely snuck and drawn on set by Karen Gillan (who plays Nebula).
“On #GotGVol3 I keep a board with all the shots I want to get for the day, each one hand-drawn. But now it seems someone is trying to sneak new shots into my plans. Call me crazy but I think it’s @karengillan,” Gunn wrote. The image in question shows a hilariously drawn Nebula with the caption, “long monologue.” Gillan quote-tweeted the post with a “Hehehe.”

There has been enough speculation about the Guardians threequel, and James Gunn has earlier suggested that there will be some major deaths seen in the film, and many Marvel fans have gone on to guess that Rocket will be the one to die. Post the most recent confirmation that this is pretty much the end, many fans took to Twitter to express their fears about who might die in the film, and they will not be the only ones to probably show some sadness online. Gillan also took to social media to react to James Gunn’s latest statement, even sharing a few sad emojis.
The previous year, Gillan shared that the third Guardians film in the trilogy is going to be “so emotional” that when she had initially read the script alongside Pom Klementieff (who plays Mantis), they were both in “floods of tears.” She also added, “You’re learning more about existing characters and on a deeper level … I’m really excited at exploring Nebula, post-Thanos.”
Apart from the returning cast of Guardians, the new film will also be featuring newcomers Chukwudi Iwuji and Will Poulter as Adam Warlock. Iwuji is currently playing Clemson Murn on the Peacemaker series on HBO Max. It’s unclear who Iwuji is playing in the MCU, but Iwuji has recently opened up about how much he has enjoyed working with James Gunn. While appearing in a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Iwuji had shared the story of James Gunn asking the actor to be in the final Guardians film while he was still on the set of Peacemaker.
