The Recording Academy presents the 65th annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Beyonce is still going through the backlash from the LGBTQ+ community as she performed in Dubai at her $24M concert, where the city has strict rules against the same-s*x relationships. Also, she failed to perform the songs of her 2022 RENAISSANCE album, which was praised by the queer community.
Beyonce, meanwhile, leads the ‘Album of The Year’ nominations with nine for her critically acclaimed RENAISSANCE album. Apart from Beyoncé’s album, nine other albums included in the nominations are ABBA’s Voyage, Adele’s 30, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), Brandi Carlile’s In These Silent Days, Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Lizzo’s Special, Harry Styles’s Harry’s House.
Fans’ Reactions Over Grammys Approaching Taylor Swift or Beyoncé To Perform
Almost as soon as the rumors of the Grammy’s wanting Taylor Swift or Beyonce to perform as female superstars swirled, fans almost started debating over the matter. The fans of both artists have been delighted by the news, but at the same time, some are furious to learn about this news as they believe many female lead singers here can bang the awards show with their performances. Recording Academy has already announced the first batch of performers, who were also nominated for awards for their songs or albums.

There is a debate among fans regarding who will be chosen by the committee for the grand performance since fans want both singers on the stage this year at Grammys. Additionally, they assume that both singers will not perform at the Grammys if they do not win ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Song of the Year.’ Apart from Beyonce’s album for the AOTY title, Taylor Swift’s All Too Well song also has been nominated for the SOTY title at Grammys 2023.
