Renowned star Arnold Schwarzenegger who is best known for his roles in the movies The Terminator and Predator, became an acclaimed actor in the film industry after acting them, but even after being a celebrated actor, Schwarzenegger was literally paid $0 for his role in Maggie. The Actor’s fans and the film industry know how hardworking and extraordinary Arnold Schwarzenegger is but the pay he received for the Henry Hobson movie. The reason Schwarzenegger chose to work for a $0 movie was a bolt from the blue. The Actor stated that it was the script that made him do the movie as he really liked it. Maggie is a post-apocalyptic horror drama film of 2015 that had stars like Abigail Breslin and Joely Richardson along with Schwarzenegger as the main lead.

Schwarzenegger played the challenging role of a widowed father whose daughter was suffering from a serious infection with a chronic zombie disease. The film was originally set to have its world premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, but due to the distribution rights it couldn’t happen and the movie made the world premiere in 2015 instead. Even though the movie could not make a massive hit collection and got mixed reviews from viewers and critics, it was appreciated for its innovative approach and story.

Back in 2018 Arnold Schwarzenegger had an open heart surgery which nearly cost him his life. And the actor hasn’t gone through just one heart surgery but three. In 1997, Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent his first elective heart surgery to replace a defective, congenital aortic heart valve, a problem that made him go through another two surgeries and one almost took his breath away. Schwarzenegger went through his third open heart surgery just before filming Terminator: Dark Fate in 2019. On his YouTube channel, The Pump Schwarzenegger said:

“I remember when I had my open-heart surgery, my third one… I was really freaking out, and I woke up all of a sudden and the doctor was standing in front of me, and saying ‘I’m so sorry, but unlike what we planned, a non-invasive surgery… we made a mistake and poked through the heart wall, and there was internal bleeding, and we had to open you up to save your life”.

The actor opened up about the first thing after the surgery he wanted was to recover as soon as possible as he had to start filming Terminator: Drak Fate. Schwarzenegger knew that he would only be allowed to start filming after getting healthy enough. Terminator: Dark Fate was one of the hit sci-fi movies of that time and fans really enjoyed the action-packed thriller. Arnold Schwarzenegger replayed his iconic role of T-800 Terminator and continued as the main lead fighting for humanity who received handsome and positive reviews for his role in the franchise.
