It’s been a long time ever since Madagascar last arrived, and fans really hope to see Madagascar 4 happening. Not only are they a fantastic source of entertainment, but they also make you feel good. Often, the subtle details heighten cuteness. For those who don’t know, Madagascar’s first sequel debuted in 2005, and viewers have since enjoyed the adventure. The movie has brilliant color and flawless graphics. Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, and Jada Pinkett Smith provided the voices for the film’s likable characters, which helped it, become a big smash. Will there ever be a fourth Madagascar film given that it is now 2023?

Is A Fourth Madagascar Movie Actually Coming?

There are currently three movies in the Madagascar franchise: Madagascar, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted. The trilogy has grossed over $2 billion in total box office revenue when all three of the films are combined, and that amount is likely to climb sooner than you might imagine.

Dreamworks continued the franchise after the third film’s considerable popularity with the 2014 film Penguins Of Madagascar. The next year, Madagascar 4 received official confirmation, with a May 2018 release date set. The film was later taken off the schedule by Dreamworks Animations’ goal of releasing two films each year.

According to former DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, the fourth Madagascar film, which chronicles the voyage of Alex, Marty, Gloria, and Melman, was reportedly in the works. However, things suddenly changed.

However, after the recent Oscars incident, it will be interesting to see if Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett Smith reunite for a potential Madagascar 4.

Between 2005 to 2012, the two actors co-starred in the Madagascar series. The most recent picture, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted (2012) is at the top of both performers’ filmographies.

One of the most divisive moments in the history of the Academy Awards occurred at the 94th ceremony. Specifically, Chris Rock was smacked by Will Smith after he made a jab at Jada Pinkett-Smith. All of these raised questions about whether Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett-Smith would collaborate on the beloved Madagascar franchise’s fourth episode.

If this occurs, the producers will need to reconsider how to bring the movie back. They will either need to change the cast or they may wish to use some creativity to adjust the plot of the film.

What Could Be The Plot of Madagascar 4?

The release of the movie is eagerly anticipated by Madagascar enthusiasts. All age groups, from adults to children, have their own fandoms for the animated movie.

When the third sequel came to a close, four friends decided to join the circus because they had been imprisoned for a very long time and no longer wanted to be.

The zoo animals will make decisions about their future and what to do with the rest of their lives in the fourth phase, if and when it occurs. If it’s made, there will undoubtedly be adventures and lots of fun.

Fans of the animated series can only conjecture as there is little information available beyond that regarding what will be shown in the last episode. Since we already know the fourth film will be outrageous like the other three, moviegoers can expect another entertaining romp from it.
