“Will Assane reunite with Claire and Raul properly? Will he be able to navigate his personal life? Those relationships feel really strong, and so that can keep on going.”
Interestingly, The gap between season 2 and season 3 was almost a year, it would not be a mistake to wait at least 1 more year to get an update on this. Some predictions tentatively point towards a potential release in late 2024, though nothing is set in stone.

The script for this live-action movie is being crafted by Doug Miro, co-creator of the acclaimed series Narcos. The film story follows the first African samurai to serve in Japan. Yasuke has appeared in numerous manga, anime, and video games over the years. Netflix previously unveiled the Yasuke anime in April 2021. But, this Netflix event series would serve as his first live-action appearance.
