Wizards Of Waverly Place fans are excited for the reboot of the fantasy drama. The revival of the series was announced by Disney in January 2024. Celebrated singer-songwriter Selena Gomez will be making a guest appearance in the pilot episode of the Wizards Of Waverly Place reboot, which revolves around her onscreen brother Justin Russo, played by the Little Boy actor David Henrie.
According to recent pictures released from the upcoming reboot of Wizards of Waverly Place, a new generation of young wizards and witches would be a significant part of the series.

The widely watched show, Wizards Of Waverly Place, aired from 2007 to 2012 and introduced Selena Gomez into the entertainment industry. The fantasy drama revolves around the Russo family as the children from this family end up balancing their magical powers along with growing up. The character of the three Russo kids Justin, Alex, and Max was played by David Henrie, Selena Gomez, and Jake T. Austin.
A new batch of pictures released by Max Matenko reveals a lot about the young generation of wizards and witches in the upcoming reboot of Wizards Of Waverly Place. Child artists Max Matenko and Alkaio Thiele will be playing the role of Justin Russo’s sons. Max Matenko posted pictures with the cast of Wizards Of Waverly Place on Instagram and captioned it as-
“Am beyond excited and honored to be a part of the sequel. Please pinch me because I think I’m dreaming.”
The reboot of the show will revolve around Justin Russo, who is currently working at WizTech. He has given up his powers and leads a normal life with his wife and two kids, but when he is introduced to a young wizard who reaches out to him for training, Justin goes back to embracing his magical powers again.

Almost after a decade of Wizards Of Waverly Place going off air in January 2012, the widely watched Disney series is back with Selena Gomez as Alex Russo with the reboot of the fantasy drama series. The Calm Down singer would be seen in a guest appearance in the pilot episode of the show. American actor David Henrie is also coming back for the reboot as Justin Russo. According to the media outlet Deadline, both Gomez and Henrie are executively producing the reboot of the popular series. Disney’s announcement post on Instagram read as- “Waverly Place”.
Selena Gomez is quite excited about the reboot of Wizards Of Waverly Place and even reacted in the comment section of the announcement post by Disney on Instagram. The Grammy-nominated singer mentioned-

The synopsis of the reboot mentions-

Writers and executive producers Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas are the brains behind the reboot of Wizard Of Waverly Place. The writer-producer duo is also known for the sequel of Raven’s Home. Janice LeAnn Brown will be playing the character of Billie, the young wizard who wants to be trained by Justin Russo, and Alkaio Thiele and Max Matenko will be seen as Justin Russo’s sons.
