“You are cute, yes?”: Jennifer Lawrence Did Not Know What to Say After Weird Compliment From Media Member
Hollywood actor Jennifer Lawrence has been in the industry for more than a decade now and she has never disappointed with any of the projects that she takes on. Being one of the most recognized faces in the film industry at the moment, the actress is undoubtedly much adored by fans. And as a celebrity, there is no escaping the media, and its sometimes bizarre questions.

The Hunger Games star has also shared one such awkward moment with the media people while she was in China.

While on her first-ever visit to China for Hunger Games press conference, Jennifer Lawrence looked to have received some unusual questions, as the actress shared that one left her a bit confused. During a guest appearance on the talk show Conan back in 2015, Lawrence was prompted by the host about her visit to China.
She immediately pointed out the unusual question that was asked by one person from the media, which according to the actor went, “You are cute, Yes?”
This seemingly left her confused and as such she had not been able to respond. Furthermore, Lawrence also revealed the Chinese nickname that the Chinese fans gave her which when translated into English meant Big Elder Cousin. The Don’t Look Up Actor admitted that she was flattered by the name.
Along with that, her co-star Josh Hutcherson had also been called by a nickname that translated to a simple “Baby Josh”. Overall, Lawrence seemingly enjoyed the experience on her first visit to the country.

Starting her career in Hollywood in the late 2000s with Garden Party (2008), Jennifer Lawrence has come a long way. The role that the actress is popularly known for is without a doubt that of her Hunger Games character Katniss Everdeen. It helped bring the actress into center stage.
The 33-year-old actor has various awards which include one Academy award in the best actress category for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. Apart from that, she also bagged three Golden Globes for three different years.
Lawrence was also a part of the X-Men series as the character of Raven/ Mystique. Her latest project is the s*x comedy No Hard Feelings, which was released on the 23rd of June.
