She made a public appearance almost a year ago during the premiere of her comeback movie at the 69th Taormina Film Festival in Italy. According to an interview with a reputed media forum, the actor had mentioned one of the A-Listers from Holywood as better accomplished and she simply admires her.

During an interview with the famous media platform Vanity Fair in 2013, Amber Heard was present to promote her movie Paranoia. The Rum Diary actor spoke about multiple aspects of her life from being the only one to be interested in theatre and taking up acting as a full-fledged career from her family to talking about the Hollywood A-listers who inspire her the most. On being asked about an actor or actress whose work she simply loves, without thinking much, Amber Heard replied-

I can’t think of anyone who is better accomplished, the kind of trajectory I admire better than Angelina Jolie. She’s really parlayed of life in the public eye and used it to her advantage as opposed to just living life as a recluse because you feel taken advantage of by the general public and the paparazzi obsessed.”

Aquaman 2 Director Addresses Amber Heard’s Comment On Her Role In The Sequel

With the trailer of Jason Momoa and Amber Heard starrer Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom hitting YouTube, the fans cannot contain their excitement. Filmmaker James Wan is the brain behind the Aquaman franchise. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, The Conjuring director addressed the claims made by Amber Heard regarding her screen presence in the upcoming Aquaman sequel. He said-

“I always pitched this to everyone from the get-go. The first Aquaman was Arthur and Mera’s journey. The second movie was always going to be Arthur and Orm. So, the first was a romance action-adventure movie, and the second one was a bromance action-adventure movie. We’ll leave it at that.”

According to James Wan, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom majorly focuses on Arthur played By Jason Momoa, and Orm portrayed by Patrick Wilson. However, during an interview with People, in 2022 Amber Heard remarked on her character Mera’s tweaked screen timing. She pointed out that it was a result of the bad public image due to the defamation trial. She had mentioned-

“I was given a script and then given new versions of the script that had taken away scenes that had action in it, that depicted my character and another character — without giving any spoilers away — two characters fighting with one another, and they basically took a bunch out of my role. They just removed a bunch out.”
