“You gotta live by no rules”: Quando Rondo’s Gut-wrenching Confessions After Cousin Lul Pab Died In His Arms, Amid Lil Durk Arrest

Trouble does not seem to leave the rap division of the music industry as, after the arrest of the music tycoon Diddy, rapper Lil Durk is arrested on murder-for-hire scheme targeted at rapper Quando Rondo. Durk is not the only one to have been arrested on these charges as five other rappers were arrested before him.
In 2022, Rondo’s 23-year-old cousin and friend Lul Pab got seriously injured in a shooting incident that was allegedly targeted at him. Pab succumbed to his injuries and died reportedly died in Rondo’s arms. The incident obviously shocked the rap world, and recently, Rondo has opened up about the whole thing in an interview.
Quando Rondo Expresses His True Feelings About the Death of His Cousin Lul Pab
Born Tyquian Terrel Bowman, Quando Rondo signed with an imprint of Atlantic Records, YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s namesake record label. This was after he release the single, I Remember featuring Lil Baby in 2018. Since then, he has released two studio albums and both of them have managed to get on the Billboard 200 charts.
Rondo was great friends with cousin Lul Pab (real name Saviay’a Robinson), and they worked together on music. Things seemed to be going alright until 2022 when the two of them got involved in a shooting in Los Angeles. According to Fox 11 Los Angeles, Rondo and his entourage were gas at a gas station when three men in a white vehicle pulled up alongside the rapper’s black Cadillac Escalade and opened fire.
Although Rondo was not a victim in the shooting and was not injured, his cousin was injured and pronounced dead when they reached the hospital. The incident left Rondo devastated. In a recent interview with djvlad, when he was asked about it, he expressed the deep sorrow he feels about his cousin dying in his arms. He said that no one can be trusted because no one is as good as they might seem.
The ABG rapper said: “You gotta live by no rules,” while discussing that maybe one would believe that a person will not shoot at another person in front of kids, but that is what they believe, and the reality can be very different from that. He also said that living by morals only works when the other person also does the same because otherwise the person with morals might not be able to save himself and his loved ones from the immoral person.
Lil Durk Is Arrested on Murder-for-hire Charges
According to the police records confirmed by XXL, Lil Durk, born as Durk Banks in Chicago, was arrested in Broward County, South Florida. He is awaiting the transfer of his custody to U.S. Marshals in the Broward County Jail without a bond.
Prior to the 32-year-old music artist’s arrest (via XXL), five other rappers from Chicago with alleged links to OTF – Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston – have also been arrested on federal charges. Allegedly, these rappers were avenging the death of emerging rapper King Von’s shooting in 2019 in Atlanta because Quando Rondo was suspected to be involved.
